The Art Hoose

opening a window on the art world

The Art Hoose is a new feature of the Festival. It opens a window on the working artists of Banffshire.

It allows artists to show you what they do, how they do it and of course it gives you an opportunity to own original artwork.

A wide range of paintings, prints, sculptures and drawings will be on display and you will be able to see artists at work.

A wide range of artists will be exhibiting and, over the weekend, there will be scheduled demonstrations of working with oil paints, soft pastels and clay.

The artists are James and Anne Johnston, from Portsoy; Jemima Chillingworth, artist in Residence in Gardenstown with 'Sense Scotland'; Carn Standing, from Boyndie; Gallery 83 of Gardenstown, with the work of Bryan Angus and others; Kathryn Sharp of King Edward; Jennifer Mole of Banff; Louise Hewitt of Fraserburgh, and Michael Kitchen of Alvah.
