This year we hope to have all the demonstrators
actively demonstrating their various fascinating arts and crafts; and
there will be a new venue (the Art Hoose) for artists in the bottom part of the last unrenovated building on the shorehead.
We will also be aiming for
a more arts and crafts flavour amongst the various stall holders on
the promenade between the two harbours.
And, as usual, there will be a non stop programme of activities on the
harbour stage (it is being extended this year) and you may well
bump into buskers and street theatre along the way.
The rich programme of concerts and ceilidhs at various venues
are listed in music section.
Our various youth initiatives extend beyond the
Festival weekend and are all mainly landside events. They include the
music master classes and visual arts projects which are dealt with in
the-arts section. They also include the sailing
classes and the boat building project which are dealt with in the
maritime section.
