| GFRS will be attending the Boats festival this year. As we
did last year there will be an Extrication display at the Fire Station and
a Community Safety advice stand down at the Loch.
The Extrication team will demonstrate how GFRS handle vehicle
collisions, and a speaker will be on hand to talk the public through the
process involved. Fire-Fighters will be on hand to answer any questions.
This will all take place at Portsoy Fire Station, Rose Lane Portsoy.
The Extrication demonstration will be held:- 14-00 to 16-00 on Saturday
20th .
Down at the Loch there will be a Community Safety Stand, again
Fire-fighters will be available to answer questions regarding any Fire
Safety advice.
Fire Safety Advice at the Loch will be available throughout the
afternoon.
At both places there will be available 'Home Fire Safety Visits'
(HFSV's). These visits involve Fire-fighters coming to your home at a
convenient time to give you any Fire Safety advice that is required, also
if you require smoke detectors these can be fitted for free by the
Fire-fighters on the visit.
